Marty Stewart (
Jack Lemmon ) has been proclaimed dead in the war so his wife Julie (Betty Grable ) marries Vernon (Gower Champion ). When Marty returns, he fights with Vernon while Gwen Howard (Marge Champion ) looks on distressed.
