Mandevilla splendens climbs by twining and can grow to 3 meters (10 feet) high. It has wide green leaves of elliptical or rectangular shape which grow to 20 cm (8 in) long. The flowers are pink with yellow centers, and it flowers from late spring to early summer. It prefers temperatures remaining over 10°C (50 °F).[1]
