It is found in Burundi, Democratic Republic of the Congo, Kenya, Rwanda, Sudan, Tanzania, Uganda, and Zambia. Its natural habitats are subtropical or tropical moist lowland forests, subtropical or tropical moist montanes, and moist savanna.
