Work

Nedim Kufi works with mixed media, from paper and flowers to earth and ceramics in order to develop a close relationship between the disciplines of printing and etching, sculpture and design. Kufi is attempting to create nonlinear fine art exposing his idea of perceiving the world. He combines the methods of printmaking, graphic design, painting, media and moviemaking. Through ongoing essay Kufi’s works appear to be as spontaneous and simple but at the same time Nedim Kufi is digging deep into the mind seeking new information to be considered as unique result. In his frequent use of grids in his artwork, Nedim Kufi draws on the Islamic tradition of repetition and patterning.
