Lynch & Ruíz-Carranza, 1996[verification needed]Nymphargus armatus is a species of frog in the Centrolenidae family. It is endemic to Colombia. Its natural habitats are subtropical or tropical moist montanes and rivers. It was usually cited in the literature as Cochranella armata.
