The Balochistan region is divided between three nations
Pakistan ,Iran andAfghanistan . The relationship between theBaluch andArab nationalist leaders began at the start of 20th century but became stronger between the 1950s - 1980s. The support came from theBaath Party ofIraq andSyria .History

Iraq was providing support forBaluchis againstTehran . Rebel leaderDad Shah was very famous inIraq ’s media, he was killed in 1957 but Iraqi support continued. TheShah of Iran was unable to stop the rebellion immediately after the death ofDad Shah . There was a civil war inIranian Balochistan . The Iran forces successfully put down rebellion at the start of 1960s. ManyBaluchis went underground and reorganised. In 1968, with the help ofIraq and otherArab nationalist leaders, theBaluch once again started revolt against Shah of Iran which least in 1975 by the Shah of Iran persuading one of the mainBaluch nationalist and tribal chief for negations. In 1970s, ties withIraq were stronger withBaluch by supporting both sides of borderBaluch separatist groups. From 1973 to 1977Iraq helpedBaluchi revolt inPakistan . In February 1973,Balochistan provincial government dismissed byZulfiqar Ali Bhutto and arrest of three mainBaluch nationalist leaders because of arms discover in Iraqi embassy.Pakistan government also announced thatIraq andSoviet plan to breakPakistan andIran .
