It has resemblance to the Dean ML and the Gibson Les Paul. It was released alongside the Dean ML, V and Z. Glen Drover of the band Megadeth is known for using this guitar [1], as well as Rob Barrett of Cannibal Corpse, John McFee, of The Doobie Brothers, and Sascha Gerstner of Helloween. The Dean Cadillac shape is also available as a bass guitar.[2]
Twenty Fifth Anniversary Model
The twenty-fifth Anniversary model of the Dean Cadillac was unveiled at this winter's NAMM show and will be available in a limited quantity. The new limited edition will personify all the Cadillac 'style and player-appeal' that the world's best guitar players came to know and fall in love with. Plus, it will be the same version that was actually never put into production for the general playing public but reserved for Dean's top Artists. Additional luxuries include the highest quality figured flame-maple tops, real abalone fingerboard inlays, 24 karat gold hardware, 7 ply body binding, 5 ply head binding and a special 25th Anniversary emblem on the headstock.
