Mermaid statues

Mermaid Statues are statues located throughout the city of Norfolk, Virginia, each decorated by a different artist. The mermaids started popping up in 2000 as part of the city's slogan of "Life. Celebrated Daily." The statues have been welcomed by both residents and visitors alike.
