The Brewster Apartments, originally known as the "Lincoln Park Palace" in
Chicago ,Illinois , was designed byarchitect Enoch Hill Turnock and built in 1893. The building, located at 2800 North Pine Grove Avenue, was designated as aChicago Landmark on October 6, 1982.Architecture
The building employs skeleton-frame construction, which enabled

The Brewster Apartments served as the backdrop to the movies Child's Play and Running Scared. Charlie Chaplin lived in the penthouse suite when he lived in Chicago during the heyday of Chicago filmaking at the Essanay Studios between 1915 and 1916.
