Liberty Street is a street in New York City. It stretches east-west from the middle of Lower Manhattan almost to the East River.
The street borders such sites as One Chase Manhattan Plaza, the Federal Reserve Bank of New York, One Liberty Plaza, Liberty Plaza Park, the Deutsche Bank Building, the World Trade Center site, the World Financial Center, Gateway Plaza, and the North Cove marina.
The western portion of the street has been extensively damaged by the September 11th attacks and subsequently rebuilt. Rebuilding efforts continue near the World Trade Center site.
