U.S. Route 322 Business is a business route of U.S. Route 322 in the borough of West Chester in Chester County, Pennsylvania. The route runs along the former alignment of U.S. Route 322 before it was rerouted to bypass West Chester to the north and east on the West Chester Bypass.

Route description

U.S. Route 322 Business heads east from U.S. Route 322 in East Bradford Township on Downingtown Pike. It enters the borough of West Chester and the name changes to Hannum Avenue. Shortly after entering West Chester, it intersects the eastern termiuns of Pennsylvania Route 162. It splits into a one-way pair following West Chestnut Street westbound and following North New Street to West Market Street eastbound. Eastbound US 322 Business intersects eastbound Pennsylvania Route 842 at the intersection of New and Market. It heads east on the one-way streets to the main north-south street in West Chester, High Street.

Here, U.S. Route 322 Business continues south on two-way High Street and Pennsylvania Route 3 heads east on Chestnut and Market Streets. U.S Route 322 Business used to overlap Pennsylvania Route 100 on High Street between downtown West Chester and the intersection with Pennsylvania Route 52 (Price Street) until PA 100 was truncated to U.S. Route 202 north of West Chester in 2003. High Street carries U.S. Route 322 through the southern part of West Chester, intersecting Miner Street (westbound PA 842) and Price Street (PA 52). It then passes by the northern campus of West Chester University and the route enters West Goshen Township. U.S. Route 322 Business ends at an interchange with the southern end of the US 202/US 322 West Chester Bypass on the border of West Goshen and Westtown Townships. High Street continues south as the Wilmington Pike, which carries US 202 and US 322 in a southerly direction.
