Southcote Junction

Southcote Junction

Southcote Junction is a UK railway junction south of Reading West railway station where the lines to Basingstoke and Newbury diverge. There was formerly a third branch, for goods only, to a goods yard in Berkeley Avenue, Reading. This was closed many years ago but some of the earthworks can still be seen.
