Port Clarence is a census-designated place (CDP) in Nome Census Area, Alaska, United States. The population was 21 at the 2000 census.

It is located on the spit separating the bay of Port Clarence from the Bering Strait.

Geography

Port Clarence is located at coor dms|65|15|58|N|166|51|10|W|city (65.265974, -166.852765)GR|1.

According to the United States Census Bureau, the CDP has a total area of 36.5 square miles (94.4 km²), of which, 35.5 square miles (91.8 km²) of it is land and 1.0 square miles (2.6 km²) of it (2.74%) is water.

Demographics

As of the census of 2000,GR|2 there were 21 people, 4 households, and 3 families residing in the CDP. The population density was 0.6 people per square mile (0.2/km²). There were 0 housing units at an average density of 0.0/sq mi (0.0/km²). The racial makeup of the CDP was 90.48% White, 4.76% Black or African American, 4.76% from other races.
