"Hey, Look Me Over" was the 236th episode of the M*A*S*H television series, and the first episode of the eleventh and final season, first airing on October 25, 1982 with a retelecast on June 13, 1983. Margaret has to prepare for an inspection by Col. Beatrice Bucholz. The non sexual relationship between Hawkeye and Nurse Kealani Kellye - as one of the few nurses he does not try to seduce - is also explored.
Plot Synopsis
The nurses have left the 4077th as the unit was expecting the front to shift towards it. Everyone is trying their best to help out in the OR and end up "shambalizing" it. Eventually the nurses return to find the mess and Margaret finds out that a Col.Bucholz will be visiting to inspect the nursing staff to see how long it takes for a unit to be up and running after a move (or a bugout). Margaret starts out over working the nurses to get things in shape for the inspection but ends up pulling back a little after realizing that Col.Bucholz was being unreasonable with her expectations.
As usual there's a story within a story. In this episode we get to learn more about Lt. Kealani Kellye as she confronts Hawkeye on why he keeps ignoring her unlike the other nurses he constantly pursues. Before the episode ends Hawkeye realizes that Kellye has a more sensitive side to her after witnessing how she comforts a dying soldier and apologizes to her and asks her out to a dance. However, when he gets to her tent he sees her with another man. He leaves them and he and Margaret talk about how they "learned" something today, and then dance together.
