Toselli is best known for his performance with the Chilean national youth team during the 2007 FIFA U-20 World Cup in Canada, in where beat to the Brazilian goalkeeper Cláudio Taffarel's record 484 minutes without conceding a goal in a FIFA U20 World Cup since 1985, he exceeded Taffarel eight minutes more than his record, completing 492 minutes in total.[1] and also he won the bronze medal with Chile, achieving the third place in the tournament.[2]
After his performance in the U20 World Cup of 2007 and the 2009 Toulon Tournament, he was sometimes capped to the Chilean adult team for play international games. In all levels of the national team, Toselli has played 35 international games, being one of young Chilean players more capped in Chile.

Club career
Universidad Católica
Toselli was born on 15 June 1988 in Antofagasta, he joined Universidad Católica football academy at an early age in 2001. After of play many years in the lower divitions of the club, he was promoted to the first adult team in 2006, after of the goalkeeper Rainer Wirth was loaned to Deportes Temuco.
After a notable performance in the 2007 FIFA U-20 World Cup, beating Cláudio Taffarel's clean record in a U-20 World Cup, Toselli his made professional debut for Católica on 25 November 2007 in a 3–0 home win over Coquimbo Unido. After a regular season 2008 in the club, he become in the first goalkeeper of the club after of departure of José María Buljubasich to the Paraguayan club Olimpia, player that was starter during four seasons in the club.
During the 2009 Toulon Tournament, Toselli suffered a six-months injury,[3] causing indignation in the coach Marco Antonio Figueroa for provide to his starter goalkeeper to an international tournament. During his period of recovery, the second goalkeeper in this moment Paulo Garcés broke into the Católica first team. In 2010, fulling recovered now, Toselli was the substitute goalkeeper of the club, but at the end of the season, he again broke into the first team.

International career
Youth level
During his early career, Toselli was called-up to the Chile U20 national team for the 2007 South American Youth Championship in Paraguay. He started in the national team as second goalkeeper until the third game of tournament, in where he relegates to the Colo-Colo player Richard Leyton to his place. Finally, Chile finished in the fourth place of the final stage of the tournament with six points alongside Paraguay, however the guaranies had a lower goal difference of Chile, giving the pass to Chile to the 2007 FIFA U-20 World Cup celebrated in Canada.
In the U-20 World Cup, Toselli was Chile's outstanding goalkeeper with a notable performance of he and his team in the cup, finishing in the third place of the tournament, after of beat 1–0 to Austria. However, he broke Brazilian goalkeeper Cláudio Taffarel's record of 484 minutes without conceding goals in a Youth World Cup, achieving 492 minutes in total, eight more than the Brazilian.
After of his U-20 World Cup performances, he was nominated to the Toulon Tournament of France two years consecutive (2008–2009). In 2008, Toselli was nominated by the coach Marcelo Bielsa and once was Chile's outstanding goalkeeper, being runner-up of the tournament with Chile, after of be defeated 1–0 by Italy. In 2009, he once was nominated for play the Toulon Tournament, in this occasion, he proclaimed champion of the tournament, suffering a six-months injury in the final against the France, that Chile won 1–0 with a goal of Gerson Martínez at 86th minute.
Senior team
