The Panama national football team is the national team of Panama and is controlled by the Federación Panameña de Fútbol. They have never qualified for the World Cup.

After being considered one of the weakest teams in CONCACAF for decades, Panama is currently undergoing a resurgence. It reached the final round of regional qualifying for the 2006 FIFA World Cup and then went farther beyond expectation by reaching the final game of the 2005 Gold Cup. Several of the national players are in clubs in overseas leagues.
