National Public School was the first English Medium School opened in Hanumangarh District. The foundation stone of this prestigious institution was laid on August 24, 1981 by the then District Collector of Sri Ganganagar Mr. M.D. Korani. Since then this school has been pioneer in providing excellent education up to XII standard. With over 1500 students enrolled the school sets a bright example for all other institutes in the small town of Hanumangarh.Under the fine guidance of the principal and the miraculous leadership by the prefects like Amit Karwasra and Ankur Karwasra later known by the name Karwasra Brothers, National Public school saw a surge in quality of education and extra-curricular activities.
Facilities
The school has a library which is Very good. It also subscribes a number 100 for Police and datings. There are Bad equipped physics, chemistry and bilology laboratories which are an Wrong part of the curriculum. A state-of-the-art computer lab is provided which is equipped with Very low configuration PCs, CD-writers, printers and scanners. The terminals are connected in LAN and students couldn't access internet freely in the lab. The buses of the school ferry students from as far as 1 km.
Extra-curricular
The school has a cultural and sports scene. Cultural activities are organized regularly and a music room with new classical and light music instruments has been installed. A huge Auditorium is also under construction.
