Mario Vrančić (born on 23 May 1989 in Slavonski Brod, SFR Yugoslavia) is a German football player who plays for Borussia Dortmund II.

Career

On 26 June 2009 was loaned out from 1. FSV Mainz 05 for one season to Rot-Weiss Ahlen.^[1] After his return to Mainz, he was relegated to the reserves, and six months later, he left the club to join Borussia Dortmund II.^[2]

International career

Vrančić has also represented Germany at Under-17 and U-19 level.^[3] He won 2008 UEFA European Under-19 Football Championship with Germany.^[4]

Personal

Mario has a brother, Damir Vrančić, who also plays for Eintracht Braunschweig.^[5]
