- Sea Cliff (LIRR station)
The Sea Cliff Railroad Station is a historic railroad station along the
Oyster Bay Branch of theLong Island Rail Road . It is located on Sea Cliff Avenue and Glen Keith Road between Glen Cove Avenue and Cedar Swamp Road in the City ofGlen Cove, New York , east of theTown of Oyster Bay hamlet ofSea Cliff, New York . The station was actually named after Sea Cliff Avenue, rather than Sea Cliff itself.Sea Cliff Station was originally built in 1867, and rebuilt in May 1888 at the cost of $4,000. From
July 2 ,1902 toDecember 31 ,1924 it had a connection to the Sea Cliff Village Trolley, which was extended into the Glen Cove in 1905.
