Gladys Dull

Gladys Dull

Gladys Lester Dull is the longest living person with type 1 diabetes to date, having lived with the condition for over 83 years. She started taking insulin injections at the age of six in 1924, only three years after the discovery of insulin in 1921. She reports physical activity and adherence to her diet as causes for her longevity.
