Club career
Zamalek
Abdel Monsef joined El Zamalek in 1999 from Dian Farms. His very best moments with El Zamalek were in 2008, during the Egyptian Cup Final. He defended his goal bravely and led his team to win its first title in four years.
Gouna
In July 2010 and to increase his chances of playing regularly, Abdel Monsef penned a two-year contract with Gouna. Gouna paid 2 million LE to Zamalek complete this transfer.[1]
International career
Abdel Monsef has made several appearances for the Egypt national football team and he was the second goal keeper in 2008 Africa Cup of Nations.[2][3]
Personal life
Mohamed Abdel Monsef is married to the Egyptian actress Leka' El-Khamisy.
