Fictional biography
The Gorgon becomes the leader of the Japanese mutant terrorist group known as the Dawn of the White Light when he is thirteen and runs the mutant death-cult for the next four years. The Dawn of the White Light has 500-600 members at its inception and is a Brotherhood splinter group. The Gorgon later becomes the high priest of the assassin cult called the Hand, and the Hand, the Dawn of the White Light, and HYDRA form an alliance. Together they begin turning superhumans into assassins by killing, resurrecting, and brainwashing them. The first victim is the X-Man Wolverine but his brainwashing is later "deprogrammed" by S.H.I.E.L.D., and he vows to take down all three evil groups. Another notable character who is brainwashed is X-Man Northstar, who becomes the new leader of the Dawn of the White Light. They hide in an empty oil-refinery in Alaska and begin a killing spree in America with the help of their teleporters.
They confront and capture Wolverine and take him to their headquarters. Nevertheless, Wolverine brings three enormous Sentinels with him and the Dawn of the White Light is quickly massacred, except the brainwashed Northstar, who goes through the same "deprogramming" as Wolverine.
