Christian DobleChild Bite is an art rock/post-punk band based out of Ferndale, Michigan. Their instruments range from traditional (guitars, drums) to unconventional (joysticks, theremins). Child bite was formed by Shawn Knight (Boyarm[1] founder, ex-New Grenada) along with Danny Sperry and Zach Norton in the fall of 2005. The band released their initial Wild Feast LP through Suburban Sprawl Music, home to Sperry and Norton's other band El Boxeo. The band's name was decided by a vote from a long list of potential names. This method of decision making was also used to title the Gold Thriller EP, released through Joyful Noise Recordings. Gold Thriller marked the first appearance of Sean Clancy (ex-Rescue) as a full time member, though he did appear on the Physical Education EP[2] released earlier the same year. Also appearing on previous recordings, Christian Doble (Kiddo) joined the band full time in the fall of 2007.
