History
Paradise Valley Hospital was founded in 1904 by Ellen G. White, who helped to purchase 54 acres (220,000 m2) of land with the purpose of beginning a healthcare institution named Paradise Valley Sanitarium during the health reform of the Seventh-day Adventist Church. Being part of the Adventist Health System for many years, Paradise Valley Hospital was sold to Prime Health Services in 2006.
