*According to , fictional detective Al Giardello was raised in the Perkins Homes, as it was the neighborhood inhabitated by his mother's side of the family. Giardello's father's side of the family was from the neighboring Little Italy.

*On , The Perkins Homes are mistakenly shown as the now demolished Flaghouse Homes. This is proven by the location (The Flaghouse Homes were North of Little Italy across Pratt Street, not East of Central Avenue like the Perkins Homes) and the highrise buildings that were present in the Flaghouse Homes that are not present in the Perkins Homes (All the buildings in Perkins Homes are less than two stories high).
