Fabio (Bass)Mind Snare is a death metal band from Italy. Established in 1989, Mind Snare emerged from the underground in the late 80's to become one of the most influential band in Italy. Mind Snare released 7 demotapes before their first MCD, Hegemony, in 1999. Then a label from Malaysia, "Psychic Scream Entertainment", re-released Hegemony with 2 bonus tracks in 2000, and the following year, Mind Snare's first full length CD, Hateful Attitude. Then, in 2002, the band signed a deal with American label Forever Underground (first Italian feath metal band to do that...), that released in 2003, their second full length CD, The Noble Ancestry. Then in 2005, the 3rd CD (4th in total), From Blood to Dust. When the deal expired, Mind Snare signed a new one with a label from Germany, Cxxtbxxcher Records, from Hamburg, that released, in July 2006 the best Mind Snare album, a MiniCD called "Black Crystal Sun". Mind Snare played live shows with the best worldwide Metal acts such Vader, Malevolent Creation, Suffocation, Kreator, Rotting Christ and more. In 2009, the band was scheduled to release "Undergroundemons", a special 20th anniversary CD full of unreleased tracks but the label gave up and CD was never released. In July 2009, Mind Snare played the last gig with the old 2008-2011 line-up, Gigi/Chris/Davide, supporting Marduk then Gigi left the band and was replaced by Derek on vocals and Fabio on bass. Mind Snare is currently working on new material.
