The head coach is Robert "Bob" Cimmino, who is considered one of the top basketball coaches in the nation[citation needed] and has recently turned down college basketball coaching jobs because he loves the home town feel of Mount Vernon.He is the head coach of the 2011 East team for the McDonald's All-American game.
