In around 2007 the TCCS formed TCCS:SEA (Special Event Association) and changed the name of the festival from TCF to TaiwanFest. TaiwanFest the name was created by AsiaWind the production company. Because of the sucess of CEIA Awards, the event that originated from Vancouver have been promoted to Toronto and having possible developements in New York. The Vancouver festival is at Plaza of Nations, Downtown, Vancouver.
