At Birmingham, I-20 turns eastward and heads through Anniston and Oxford before crossing the Georgia state line near Lebanon.For more than half its mileage - 130 miles to be exact - I-20 overlaps Interstate 59 from the Mississippi border to eastern Birmingham near Birmingham International Airport.
