WAAW 94.7 is an Urban Gospel station located in Augusta, Georgia. The station is licensed by the FCC to the town of Williston, South Carolina and broadcasts with a ERP of 2.55 kW.

Station History

WAAW signed on in late 1995 with a Classic R&B format as "94.7 The Boss". It was owned by legendary soul singer James Brown under his company Brown Family Broadcasting. Brown sold the station in 2002 and the format was changed to Urban Gospel.

The station is owned by Frank Neely.
