Iowa Highway 127 is an east-west highway in western Iowa. It has a length of 16 miles. It lies entirely in Harrison County.

Route description

Iowa Highway 127 begins at an interchange with Interstate 29 west of Mondamin. It goes through Mondamin and then meets Iowa Highway 183. It goes southeast briefly, then turns east into the Loess Hills and goes into Magnolia. It goes east, then turns southeast towards Logan and ends at U.S. Highway 30 in downtown Logan.

History

Iowa Highway 127 was originally designated on November 3, 1924. It originally went between U.S. Highway 75 west of Magnolia and U.S. Highway 30 in Logan. This intersection is now where it meets Harrison County Road L20. In 1968, upon completion of Interstate 29 west of Mondamin, the highway was extended to the interstate.
