Brad Lewis

He produced DreamWorks' "Antz" and, for Pixar, the Oscar winning "Ratatouille". He is the current mayor of the city of San Carlos, California.

Biography

Professional career

He attended California State University, Fresno from which he received a bachelor's degree in Theater Arts in 1980. Lewis worked at computer animation company Pacific Data Images (which became part of Dreamworks) for thirteen years (rising to become exective vice president) on many projects including the feature film "Antz", an Emmy Award winning Hanna Barbera special, and was to have directed Dreamworks' (cancelled) movie "Tusker". He also produced the Homer³ segment of "The Simpsons" before moving to PDI's competitor Pixar to work on "Ratatouille".

Local politics

Lewis served five years on the San Carlos Parks & Recreation Commission before being elected to the city's council in 2005. He became vice-mayor in 2006 and mayor in 2007.
