The 9th Independent Battery Wisconsin Light Artillery, nicknamed the "Lyons' Pinery Battery," was an artillery battery that served in the Union Army during the American Civil War.

The 9th Independent Battery was mustered into service at Burlington, Wisconsin on January 27, 1862.
The battery was mustered out on September 30, 1865 at Fort Leavenworth.
Total strength and casualties
The 9th Independent Battery initially recruited 155 officers and men. An additional 63 men were recruited as replacements, for a total of 218men.
