The Soma Institute, located in downtown Chicago, is a clinical massage therapy program that trains students to become licensed massage therapists. The Soma Institute received approval from the Illinois State Board of Education in 1998, and is accredited by the Accrediting Council for Continuing Education & Training.

The Institute provides students with massage therapy training, including trigger point therapy, Myofascial release, neuromuscular techniques, Swedish massage techniques, hydrotherapy and sports massage. The Soma Institute combines course work with an internship and externship to provide a 750-hour clinical massage therapy program to educate its students for careers in the clinical massage therapy profession.

Programs

- Clinical Massage Therapy - students receive a diploma after a 750-hour course in clinical massage therapy.
- Master Clinical Massage Therapy certificate - students receive a certificate after a 300 clock-hour program that results in a specialty clinical massage therapy practice.
