Delhi Public School Vasant Kunj

Delhi Public School, Vasant Kunj was established in the year 1991 by the DPS Society. Initially, it was run in the afternoon shift in DPS Vasant Vihar. The school moved to its present campus in Vasant Kunj in 1994. Mr. Vinay Kumar has been the principal of the school since its inception. DPS VK has a combined strength of 205 teachers at the senior and junior level.

Layout

The school is divided into four blocks:

* A Block houses the offices of the Principal and Vice - Principal, the estate and administrative offices and classes X, XI and XII.

* B Block houses the office of the Head Mistress and classes II to VI.

* C Block houses the classes Nursery, Prep and I.

* D Block houses the classes VII, VIII and IX.

The school also has a hostel with accommodation for 72 students (36 boys and 36 girls).

Transport

The school has a fleet of around 29 buses and these in association with private and DTC buses operate on around 150 routes and cover various parts of Delhi.Fact|date=August 2008
