Fernando de Toro is a Full Professor in the Department of English at the
University of Manitoba ,Winnipeg ,Canada . He was for five years Dean of the Faculty of Graduate Studies in the same university (Winnipeg, Canada). De Toro has published in diverse fields:literary theory ,semiotics , comparativeliterature ,post-modernity andpost-coloniality ,Latin American literature andWestern Literature s.Some of his publications include:

Universidad Iberoamericana inMexico City on the “Post-Modern Condition in Mexico: architecture, theatre, literature, music, and painting.” He is currently completing a book entitled "Intersecciones III: Globalisation and Culture: Essays on Arquitecture, Painting, Music, Literautre and Theatre" to be published inEditorial Galerna at the end of2008 .
