Japanese Journal of Applied Physics (frequently abbreviated as Jpn. J. Appl. Phys., or simply JJAP) is a peer-reviewed scientific journal, established in 1962 andpublished by the Japan Society of Applied Physics through the Institute of Pure and Applied Physics.
JJAP had been published in two bound editions, Part 1 and Part 2 in 1982 to 2007:

* Part 2 is published semi-monthly and is for letters and express letters.
Since 2008, JJAP has had only regular papers, communications, and review papers as Part 1, while Part 2 of JJAP was separated and renamed as Applied Physics Express (abbreviated as Appl. Phys. Expr., or APEX).
