MusE
MusE 0.7 running under KDE on LinuxDeveloper(s) The MusE Team Stable release 1.1 / 27 September 2010 Operating system Linux Type Digital audio workstation License GNU General Public License Website http://www.muse-sequencer.org/ MusE is a free software MIDI/Audio sequencer with recording and editing capabilities. It was originally written by Werner Schweer and now is developed by the Muse development team.
MusE aims to be a complete multitrack virtual studio for Linux: it currently has no support under other platforms as it relies on Linux-only technologies, including JACK and ALSA. It also supports the Linux Audio Session Handler (LASH).
From version 0.7 on its music notation abilities were removed to MuseScore.[1]
