Combat Logistics Regiment 17 (CLR-17) is a logistics regiment of the United States Marine Corps. They fall under the command of the 1st Marine Logistics Group (1st MLG), I Marine Expeditionary Force (I MEF). The unit is based out of Marine Corps Base Camp Pendleton, California. When assigned, CLR-17 becomes the Logistics Combat Element of 1st Marine Expeditionary Brigade (1st MEB).

Mission

Provide distribution and throughput to I MEF and echelonment of 1st MLG combat service support capability across I MEF’s battlespace. Be prepared to serve as the forward element of the 1st MLG. Be prepared to serve as the combat service support element of the 1st Marine Expeditionary Brigade (1st MEB).

Originally activated on 30 March 1976 as Headquarters and Service Battalion, 1st Force Service Support Group (1st FSSG).
