Mummidi-varam is a village and mandal, near Amalapuram, in East Godavari district, Andhra Pradesh, India. Mummidivaram sub-taluq was formed out of Amalapuram taluk in July 1969.

Balayogi Temple
The Balayogi Temple is famous in East Godavari district.[2] Balayogi, is an ascetic, who appears in public once a year on next day of Maha Shivaratri day. He attracts a large number of people who congregate here to have his Darshan. Until 1984 about five lakhs devotees from all over the world have visited this temple for the Balayogi’s Darshan.
