Le Flore County is a county located in the U.S. state of Oklahoma. It is part of the Fort Smith, Arkansas-Oklahoma Metropolitan Statistical Area. As of 2000, the population was 48,109. Its county seat is PoteauGR|6.
Geography
According to the U.S. Census Bureau, the county has a total area of 1,608 square miles (4,165 km²), of which, 1,586 square miles (4,107 km²) of it is land and 22 square miles (58 km²) of it (1.38%) is water.
