She named the company after the island of Delos, the birthplace of the Sun god Apollo, who brought music and healing to the world.
Delos has made recordings of such ensembles as the Philadelphia Orchestra, the St. Petersburg String Quartet, and The Chamber Music Society of Lincoln Center; and of artists such as Arleen Auger, Joseph Bertolozzi, James DePreist, Marina Domashenko, Olga Guryakova, Dmitri Hvorostovsky, Dennis Keene, Constantine Orbelian, Ewa Podles, Jean-Pierre Rampal, Carol Rosenberger, Gerard Schwarz, János Starker, Andrew von Oeyen, Eugenia Zukerman, and many more.
John M. Eargle (1931–2007) was the Chief Engineer.[1]
