Snow Mountain is a mountain with two 7,000+ foot (2,140+ m) summits named Snow Mountain East and Snow Mountain West both located on the border of Colusa County and Lake County northeast of Clear Lake.Cite web|title=Snow Mountain East, USGS CROCKETT PEAK (CA) Topo Map|work=USGS Quad maps|url=http://www.topoquest.com/map.asp?lat=39.38339&lon=-122.75219&datum=nad83&layer=DRG|accessdate=2008-06-30|publisher=TopoQuest.com] The West Peak rises to an elevation of Convert|7038|ft|m|0, while the East peak is slightly taller at Convert|7056|ft|m|0. The East peak is the highest point of both counties. The mountain is part of the Pacific Coast Ranges mountain system and it is the first tall peak in the California Coast Ranges north of San Francisco.Height and visual lines-of-sight are based on Google Earth images.]

On clear days, the peak could be seen from Mount Diablo, and from several peaks in the Mayacamas Mountains, like Mount Saint Helena, and Mount Konocti. Usually, the peaks are quite prominent from the California Central Valley, moreover the Sacramento Valley, such as from Interstate 5. Like its name states, the summits and nearby high mountains get snowfall in winter.
