Wildwood is a hamlet in west-central Alberta, Canada. Originally called Junkins, it was established in 1908 by a group of 20 African-American immigrants as a block settlement. cite web

It is located in Yellowhead County, [ [http://www.municipalaffairs.gov.ab.ca/cfml/profiles/data/0482_1.htm Yellowhead County municipal profile] - Alberta Municipal Affairs] 82 km east of Edson, Alberta and 120 km west of Edmonton, Alberta. It situated on the north side of the Yellowhead Highway and is immediately west from the intersection with Cowboy Trail.

The settlement is established on the Lobstick River, near the shores of Chip Lake and has a population of 277.
