railway station located in the town ofGrays in the borough and unitary authority ofThurrock in theEast of England .It was opened in 1854 as part of the
London, Tilbury and Southend Railway . Until the early 1900s the station was known as 'Grays Thurrock'. In February 2005, the station environment was refurbished, in particular the subway linking the platforms, as well as the surrounding highway infrastructure.tation Stuctural Upgrade
In January 2006 the footbridge linking either side of the railway was declared unsafe and closed due to structural problems with the supports and bracing, which had to be replaced. The footbridge reopened at the beginning of May 2006.

*Four trains per hour toFenchurch Street railway station :
**two via Rainham which start from here,
**two via Ockendon .
*Two trains per hour to Southend Central.It is at a junction between Chafford Hundred and Purfleet to the west and Tilbury Town to the east.
