Yekaterinburg TV Tower

Yekaterinburg TV Tower

Yekaterinburg TV Tower is a tall incomplete structure in Yekaterinburg. Construction works started 1983, but were on-hold at the beginning of the 1990s, as its shaft reached a height of 220 metres.

Yekaterinburg TV Tower, which should have reached according to the plans a structural height greater than 400 metres, was planned to be equipped with a restaurant.

Until the year 2000 it was illegally used for buildering and BASE jumping. After several fatal accidents, it was sealed.
