Sir John Abdy, 4th Baronet

Sir John Abdy, 4th Baronet (c. 1714 – 1 April 1759) was a British politician.

The son of Sir Robert Abdy, 3rd Baronet and Theodosia Bramstone, he was educated at Trinity College, Oxford, where he matriculated in 1732. Abdy was called to the Bar by the Middle Temple in 1731. In 1748, he succeeded to his father's baronetcy. From 1748 to 1759, he was Tory Member of Parliament (MP) for Essex. Abdy died unmarried and was buried in Stapleford Abbots in Essex. With his death the baronetcy became extinct.
