Ernie and the Automatics are an original rock band with a bluesy edge, based in Boston, Massachusetts. The band is comprised of six members,
Barry Goudreau on guitar andSib Hashian on drums, both are former members of the multi-platinum selling band BOSTON. Tim Archibald on bass and Brian Maes on keyboard are both former members ofRTZ and Peter Wolf’s HOUSE PARTY FIVE. Michael “Tunes” Antunes on sax is an original member of THE JOHN CAFFERTY AND THE BEAVER BROWN BAND and also starred in the movie EDDIE AND THE CRUISERS.Ernie Boch, Jr. plays guitar and graduated from BERKLEE COLLEGE OF MUSIC. The band first played the “Reel Blues Fest” on August 2, 2006 at the Cape Cod Melody Tent in Hyannis, MA. They have since opened for many national acts including JOHNNY WINTER, B.B. KING, JAMES COTTON, CHUCK BERRY, KENNY WAYNE SHEPPARD, THE FABULOUS THUNDERBIRDS, JOHNNY A., GODSMACK, EXTREME, LOS LOBOS and AMERICA. They primarily play in the New England Area.
