"Hudson Street" is a short lived American sitcom that aired on ABC for one season, from 1995 to 1996. The series starred and was executive produced by Tony Danza.

ynopsis

Danza starred as Tony Canetti, a divorced Hoboken, New Jersey detective who shares custody of his son Mickey with his ex-wife. In between work and raising his son, Tony also starts a romance with an idealistic crime reporter, Melanie (Lori Loughlin).

The series received good reviews and placed in the top 10 (partly due to its placement between the ABC hits "Roseanne" and "Home Improvement" [cite news|url=http://www.people.com/people/archive/article/0,,20101958,00.html|title=Still the Boss|last=Gliatto|first=Tom |date=1995-10-30|publisher="People"|accessdate=2008-08-24] ), but the series was canceled after one season.
