"Born into Trouble as the Sparks Fly Upward."" is the second album of the Canadian band Thee Silver Mt. Zion Memorial Orchestra & Tra-La-La Band. It was released by Constellation Records in October of 2001.

The title is most likely drawn from the King James Version of the Book of Job: “Yet man is born unto trouble, as the sparks fly upwards” (Ch. 5:7).Cite web|url=http://etext.virginia.edu/etcbin/toccer-new2?id=KjvBJob.sgm&
] Note the change of “unto” to “into”.

"This Gentle Hearts Like Shot Bird's Fallen" was used in the climax to the David Gordon Green film "Snow Angels"
